Lets get one thing straight, Bush did not lie, that was decided by the 911 commission, so stop getting your information from Michael Moron movies. Bush and Kerry are both good people trying to do whats right in a more then difficult world! Just because they have various views on how to accomplish things does not make one or the other evil, so get educated and vote on real facts.
As far as the neighbor to the north.....Your government will not allow Fox news into your country but will allow hostile Arab news stattions, what is that about, have you really converted to communisim that the people are not allowed to watch what they want? Make your judgement on facts, not fantasy, fiction or just because you want to believe someone that agrees with you! As an American I can agree with the french about one thing though, we should only help ourselves and let the rest of the world duke it out. Can you imagine how great this country could be then with all that money here, and how much better we would be liked if we did nothing for anyone else in the world like so many others? Why should we do anything or save anyone backstabbing us????

The Canadian's that hate America are also the ones who say they could not defend themselves without us. Their military is practically nonexistent. They know they NEED us, but hate us.....

I saw on Fox news two Canadian politicians. One Left, one Right talking about how Fox news was shut out and Al-Jazzera was allowed. The Lefty chalked it up to nothing more than "business". There was a cry from the Islamist countrymen for the terrorist based channel. The righty said he thinks both should be allowed. If you give them a venue, Fox news should have one also. People are calling for it. After all, where else are you going to get to see the other side of the stories. You don't get it with the main stream media.

Fox news has on more Libs and covers all of the news, with commentary that doesn't fawn over the lies of the Libs, they are the only outlet that actually calls them on their accusations, (with the exception of Joe Scarboroug on MSNBC...) Fox news covers the war on terror like NO other channel.

Americans who have NEVER been to Canada take it upon themselves to presume......assume all kinds of nonsence. I have been there......have lived there. I have been to the smart ass US of a. and spent time there............... and I would take Canada anytime........HANDS DOWN ..........no contest.

My impression is that Quebec (been there too)....offers a terrific asset to Canada...........sure there seem to be petty peeves between the So called "english" and French Canadians.........but NOTHING like the crap that goes on in the US.

Canada was SMART not to go along with the stupidity in Iraq. Canada was SMART to ask for MORE concrete evidence than the US was providing before its rush into the INVASION. Canada took a lot of childish verbal flack for it too..........but considering it came from the US , it did not really mean that much.........as the US is known to bad mouth anyone and everyone , be the turncoat it has always been...........so Canada just quietly took it ..........knowing the crap will eventually pass.--and new crap takes its place.

At least Canada is bilingual (for the most part now).(and a lot more mature and worldly.........while the US is still having problems with ENGLISH.

Canada has integrated many languages, cultures, and is able to assimilate into a broad based , multi cultural nation. Where as the US is STILL full of bias, prejudice...........(just watch the name calling going on in the US.........has anyone ever seen anything that childish??)

To the Canadians on here...........absolutely NO need to feel you have to be defensive when some silly uninformed American makes unintelligent statements about you...........just consider the source and let it go. (they have lots more where that comes from...........a cesspool of prejudice and stupid arrogance)

You have a wonderful country.........and yes there are "issues".......but you don't advertize them to the world , you don't hang out your dirty laundry for the world to see..........and you seem to be very objective and rational about working out solutions. You are very progressive and very tolerant. *mind you, you probably have to be , living next door to those loud mouth arrogant unintellectuals )

Personally, I have the highest RESPECT for the your wonderful country. and the fact that PEACE and Peaceful solutions to problems are paramount in core of your being.

(personally ,I have to LAUGH at the Americans who have NO idea of /about Canada and act like they do..........based on some stupid assumptions. all it does is show their continued ignorance ........not only of their neighbor ........but the wonder ful world around them.

when I was there..........I was so impressed with how Canadians "handled" Americans. With courtesy.& tact.......but not buying into any of the typical US Bull crap. Good for Canada for seeing through the American fissade.---and having the excellent taste to deal with them with tact/ "courtesy".

Canada impresses one as being one of the most INTELLIGENT countries ....... and one that prefers WISDOM , diplomacy and cooperation ...........to overly AGGRESSIVE /verbal and military .....tactics.---in summary , it is very WISE for its years.

How many American planes landed in Alberta in '87 after a tornado ripped threw my hometown killing 27 people and doing billions in damage? How many American planes landed in Quebec after the killer ice storm a few years back? How many American planes landed in Winnipeg to help flood victims a couple of years ago? We're a rich country just like America. We can look after it ourselves. But just so you know, anytime you need our help with a disaster(except the Iraq disaster) just call and we'll be there - no strings attached.

(having spent time in both the US and Canada .......would take Canada first .......hands down ......anytime. Wonderful people. caring people.....and highly tolerant-and caring of their US neighbor.......something to be commended for. )

A lot of Canadians are of the opinion that America made thier bed now they can lie in it. The Americans and Brits have, over many decades, succeded in screwing that part of the world over and now they want us to help hold them down so they can screw them some more. Ain't gonna happen.

We are more than willing to fight the war on terrorism ie. bin Laden(in fact we still have the largest force of men in Afghanistan outside the U.S.) but we weren't willing to fight a war for oil and revenge.

As an aside I have nothing against Americans - my grandparents are American. It's the administration that is scary.

Your health care system has very little to do with drugs that are produced in other countries and merely sold cheaper there. You do have doctors and hospitals,right?
