The more the Middle East proves itself incapable of rational human understanding, the more I think: Where is the leadership? When will someone finally step forward to explain reality to these people and get them on the right track to peace and prosperity?

And as I ponder this, I see Jesse Jackson on tv attacking "Kramer" for remarks he made, and how black people should not buy Seinfeld DVD's.
It immediately occurred to me. The leadership in the black community is just as rudderless, just as misguided, just as shortsighted. Spending their time and energy on meaningless goals, while ignoring the real problems.

I don't know what to make of it all, but it does make me sad in may ways.
