I consider this baiting
I complained about it and it seemed to subside for a while but now this ad is back.

Why can advertisers use any method they like on this forum but the same methods are forbidden to us?

There are no personal attacks allowed. This includes name-calling. We discourage this kind of activity as it is useless and only serves to drive people away from the forum who honestly wish to debate and discuss issues. Baiting other members is also not allowed. Refrain from making small snide comments or it may result in a warning.

Whats good for those who frequent this forum should also apply to those advertising here.

Maybe if they advertise here it would be balanced.

Better yet let's let what applies to the goose apply to the gander.

While I likely agree with teh sight and suely disagree with your political leaning - I agree with your point here 8:) Though - I must say - it has to be difficult to fuss over all of our combined posts because, under the rules - I think 80% of them are probably breaking the rules a little.

I was going to type in before the lock but would rather thank you for allowing this discussion to take place.

We don't choose the ads, we merely put in a little place for Google to insert whatever ad they want. What happens is that Google scans the current page and then puts up an ad that it thinks is relevant to the content of the page--since this is a political website, a lot of the ads are going to be political. If you're in a thread about drugs, it may show some drug-related ads, for instance. We have absolutely no control over what ads are shown.
