Knife throwing... no, I wish.

This is my resume:

Kenpo Karate - attained purple belt and quit soon after.

Tai Chi - Two classes, then quit.

Japanese Swordsmanship - Never took a class, what I have is a collection of swords, and I've practiced with a bokuto using a drill book.

So I'm really not an experienced fighter, but I have 7+ blades at my disposal.

Having said that, I wouldn't punch someone in the throat unless I thought they were trying to kill me. It is a potentialy lethal move that can result in death because you basically crushing their trachea.
Even so, today's chavscum are perfectly prepared to stamp on people's head once they're down nowadays, so I wouldn't rule it out. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6 and all that.
Expect to find yourself charged with some sort of illegal homicide though, especially if the person you've just killed was a lot smaller than you, on their own, and didn't have a weapon on them.....

Fair point, but I don't take any risks.

If you punch a guy in the throat, he's going down fast. So you can get an ambulance quickly for the guy.

TBH, I'm not a big guy, but I do look imposing (perversely) so if a guy is a lot smaller than me and trying to pick a fight, then he's a beligerant little f*cker who's probably got a record as long as my arm. So I should be okay.

Mind you, it's been ages since I had a fight. I'm smart enough to avoid them these days.
