In view of the need of funds for the server, if the establishment were to allow you to be a mod for the day, how much would you pay?

I begin the auction at $1.99

Mod for a day, no restrictions, no comeback.

How much would you pay? 8:)

£1.99 right here to start

moderating is pretty hard work, especially deciding borderline cases, and deciding what sort of forum it should be. There will be the annoying brats that are not on the level of bannable, but are general pests, etc.

There are harshly moderated boards, like teamliquid.net, which is definitely harsher than this one

how hard is it artard? Your mod for a day, delete the crap, ban a couple of partisans, respond rudely to everyone, whats not to like?

I can't beat $25 though, I'm out :(

I can't beat $25 though, I'm out :( Then the site gets damaged, and you are not doing your job. The job of a mod is to create a certain atmosphere for the forum, and petty stuff like moving stuff around. it is not just about the power.

For instance, this thread itself on a harsh board would be edited or locked for having biased poll options, or get dumped into a trashcan sort of place for being intentionally nonsensical.

Not only are your intentions for wanting to be a Mod disingenuous, but you're also expecting to do it on the cheap.

You and Rummy are cut from the same cloth.

what is damage on an internet forum? a couple of crying baby's? This idea could net PCF $100, and it would be hilariously chaotic..

but if you ain't got the ca$h, don't spoil it for those that do.

And who are you to call someone intentionally nonsensical! lol...
