Errrmmmm......
Most of my friends who have got married... I've got a membership card for a local table dancing place because 3 of our friends got married in one month, and we ended up in the same place each time...
And they went to this bar on the day of their wedding? |

I would say that is pretty threatening.
Also, who goes to a batchelor party at a titty bar on the day of their wedding?
Something is a little fishy about this story.
I would venture that lots of people go to titty bars for their bachelor parties... also I don't think grazing an undercover cop's leg counts as assault, the guy never made it clear that he was an officer before he began shooting.
Even if the driver of the car was drunk or running out on his bar tab, he didn't merit being fired upon, especially considering he was unarmed and unaware of his offending actions towards police (the car he hit was also unmarked).
New York's finest...
They rammed the cops. As far as I am concerned they signed their own death warrant. |

Are you convicting them of immoral behavior because of Christian insensitivity's ?
Perhaps you are too young to even understand such things?
Have you been to a wedding and witnessed the Garter ritual, where it is taken from the bride and then another girl has it placed on her leg by a guy in the wedding party?
Do you know the history of that little ritual ?
The historical reference would tell you that Garter is a throwback to the times when a bloody rag was the evidence the bride was a virgin.
In front of the entire wedding party, the groom would puncture the brides hymen and show the bloody rag to all present.
Don't be so prudish and morally superior ! |

That's not a fact; that's a claim made by the officers in question. |

This is one of those annoying incidents where we don't hear all of the facts and we never will.
This is what I will assume happened unless the facts prove otherwise:
1. Some guys were having a bachelor party at a strip club.
2. Some cops were also partying at the same club.
3. The club closed.
4. The customers, all of whom had been drinking alcohol, leave the club.
5. The groom, under the influence of alcohol, hits a man and another vehicle with his car.
6. The cops, seeing their friend hit by the car, go wild with their guns. Killing the groom and injuring the other passengers in his car. |

With the one officer in the hospital and 2 dents in the van that's a pretty good indication that they may be telling the truth.
My question is what did the cops do that caused them to try and get away like that in the first place. |

What does that have to do with it?
The fact is no one has a batchelor party on the same day they get married. That is ridiculous. Are you going to your own wedding drunk with some prostitutes lipstick smeared all over you?
It's an obvious lie, and you guys are willing to believe anything because you hate cops.
When you ram someone with a car that is using deadly force. If this person is a cop expect to die in a hail of bullets. |

Something is a little fishy about this story.
These are the kinds of variables helpful in coming to a decision. Using a car in the commision of crime is deadly force and the officers were in their right to take defensive action.
Male bachelor partys are usually given at a place where the bride can sow his wild oats, so it looks like that USA tradition is still in place. |

honestly, 50 is not that much
if i were a cop and i saw a guy who i thought had a gun try to kill me by ramming his car at me, i would unload every bullet i had into the car, until it came to a complete standstill.
if some guy is trying to kill me, i have every right to try and kill him
and if killing him requires 50 bullets, then it requires 50 bullets
btw, anyone who plays first-person shooters knows that 50 bullets is not that much, especially when its spread over multiple people who are really freaked out.
if i saw a car hit one officer, ram a police van twice, and then starts barrelling toward my partner and he starts shooting, then damn it, i'm going to start shooting too. That's common sense.
it was self-defense plain and simple--all the cops should be commended for their actions in the field, al-sharpton not withstanding. |
