As I was eating Thanksgiving dessert, and drinking stupid amounts of mulled wine, and watching an Eddie Izzard dvd, a comment Eddie made slapped me in the face.
Cake, or Death?
Honestly, if you only had two choices in life, and either one had profound political implications for the world, would you eat cake? Or Die?
I personally, would choose death. I don't mind cake at all, but the political fallout from choosing cake over sacrificing my life for such a severe political cause as to warrant having to make this kind of a choice would be a version of hell I could not wish on anyone, much less myself.
Everyone on earth will be able to see what you choose here, so choose wisely. |

Let me eat cake.
Seriously, doesn't the system work best when everybody helps themselves first? Capitalism with lives as currency or something like that? |

I always go for the piece with the most icing on it first! I'll even offer to cut the cake and set my piece aside, just so that I can have the one with the most icing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't know that was Capitalism. |

He is a comic genius. There are not many people in the history of stand up comedy who can maintain a level of entertainment anywhere close to his. |

I hate to disappoint you by providing the final rebuttle but,
by not eating cake you will not evade death. |

The question is a faulty premise. I can eat cake and die for a cause.
That said, cake takes primacy over everything. |

"So my chouice is 'or death?' I'll have the chicken."
