Thanking my parents, for... well... the way they raised me. I never realized it until I moved away to college, but were it not for how my parents raised me, I would not have become the person I am today. Were it not for them, I would never have learned to walk, and, more importantly, learned to walk on my own. It is because of them that I have life, and because of them that I am the way I am today. Because of them, I am able to control my life, and achieve anything. It is because of them that I can face the world with confidence. It is because of them that I can work, and think, for myself. And, it is because of them that I know how to love, for they brought me into this world, and showed me true, unconditional love.

It is because of them that I am the man I am today.

Thank you mom and dad, for everything.

With my eternal love,
your son

:flwr:

And if it's not too late, tell them this. All parents ache to hear it.

Oh, I already have when I came home for my dad's 50's birthday...

It was pretty emotional, but it was the first time I ever really thanked them for how much they have done for me.

Thank you, San Diego, for having the best Mexican food this side of the border. Oh, how I've missed you.
