I just got an iPod shuffle. I'm having problems with the songs. On my computer, the songs play fine. When I get them on my iPod, some of them "skip" or even cut out half the song. I restored my iPod back to "factory settings" and redid all of the songs. It is better but some still "skip".
Any advice? |

Thanks. That's productive.
Update: I restored it again, and reuploaded the songs. So far, so good. But I am only two songs in... |

Dude. Not good to poke a moderator when she is pissed that she just spent 80$ on something that isn't working. |

yeah and i'd say it to anyone the fact that you are a moderator doesn't mean i'm not going to treat you the same as i would anyone else. I'll give you more respect when you tell me to quit but other than that...
anyway the only thing i could find about it (not that i looked that hard) is a couple of threads on the apple support messageboard that say have it replaced, but i only looked at two so ::shrug:: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=880377󖻹
It also appears just turning it (volume) down could help |

| If all else fails try uploading the songs with a different media player. My ipod shuffle couldn't play any songs uploaded into it with itunes no matter how many times i resetted it to factory settings for some reason. Switched to uploading songs by real player and the problem was fixed. :-D |

Hmm a rephrasing may be in order. If you tell me to quit [doing something] i will be more inclined to listen to you than to a regular member. |

| Send it in. They do warranty work really fast (you can do it all online and they'll send you a box in about a day). |

Creative uses embedded MS, that's why it crashes every 5 seconds. I had a Creative Nomad and it was the worst God awful piece of crap I've ever used. I love my iPod and I'm never going back ever. |

I took it back and exchanged it. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes because some guy had just bought a Go phone and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Turns out it was on silent...
It works now (so far). Thanks for the help guys. |
