Eh, I wish I did. I didn't study at all and scored high. One thing I would recommend is that you also take the ACT. I personally liked it better and also did much better at it.

Tattoo a cheat sheet all over your body. If you do it in Chinese, they'll never suspect a thing. :tu:

I would have to say, get lots of sleep, eat a decent breakfast, and stay the hell off of PCF tomorrow before the test.

Yeah, three words, ALGEBRA ALGEBRA GRAPHING.
If you are an expert at those things then then you will rule the SAT. Also bring pencils, lots of pencils. If you are allowed a graphing clc then YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED IT!!!! it will make the math sections impossibly easy. And you can also program in the formulas prior to the test....hehehe

Dont believe any of the good breakfast or good nights rest s**t, its gay. Just go to bed at 9 and wake up at six, take a long shower, and eat anything but cereal.

Answer all the questions. If you can eliminate at least ONE option- go for it. You only lose a quarter of a point so if you guess right 1/4th of the time you'll still end up ahead.

If i remember correctly the old SAT's were like 1/3rd math. I took the new Sats w/ the bigger writing portion. and i bombed the math portion. Good luck bro, just remeber its only a test, and getting into a good college dosent mean s**t unless you want to work for The Man. Many successful people dropped out of college or didnt even go.

maybe on the old ones, but the new ones if you dont answer a question, no points are taken off or added.

if you plan on working for someone, you're probably going to need a degree. i would only suggest not going to college to those who plan on working for themselves.

Very true.
I plan on working for myself, working my tail off for a bit then retiring at 40 to my own private island in the carribean, and playing the stock market and investing and stuffs like that. :)
So college would just be a waste of 4 years in my case. But for others, i HIGHLY recommend college.

I plan on working for myself as well. I can't stand working for other people. However, I'm still going to college, for a number of reasons:

1) I'm expected too.

2) I'll probably meet a really cute girl and we'll probably get married.

3) A post-college education is always a good thing.

4) I actually want to keep learning, because thats important to me.

5) And in case I ever run for political office, a degree is a plus. :-D

Oh, and its something to do.

maybe on the old ones, but the new ones if you dont answer a question, no points are taken off or added.

The way it works is this:

If you answer a question correctly you get 1 point.

If you answer a question incorrectly you lose 1/4th of a point.

If you don't answer a question you don't receive any credit.

Lets say you don't answer 4 questions. You will receive 0 points.
If you answer all 4 and get ONE of them right you will get 1 point minus the 3(1/4th) points from missing the other 3 questions therefore receiving .25 points.

So if you answer 4 questions and get one of them right you end up ahead of not answering them.
