If it is to be discussed, then do not use the word pedophilia, which is arbitrarily defined on several levels. Describe the physical circumstances, including the wishes of the two parties, and that should be sufficient.

I'm pretty sure we are all intelligent enough to know the different between pedophilia and child molestation, and I even made in clear in my first post.

Unless you are talking about different levels/circumstances of it, of which I'm allowing discussion to encompass everything under the definition (from simple arousal or inclination to children, to deviant and violent tendencies to children) as well as everything else that is encompassed under the definition, such as pederasty, lolita fetish, ephebophilia and nepiophilia.

This discussion is about closet pedophiles, not convicted or activist pedophiles.

I would say the problem is that sickos are rapidly becoming the majority of the population because our society is so messed up.

Reading this thread did not reduce that feeling in the slightest for me.

sure do. You just said yours weren't working. PLus I don't check them all that often. not many people want to engage in private conversation with me. Plus I'd prefer to keep conversation with 19 year old masochists in an e-mail my wife has access to to avoid any temptation.

thailand no, cambodia yes. i think there might be a market for child prostitution among thais in thailand, but as a farang, i have never witnessed it. the only places in asia that i have ever actually witnessed child prostitution and sex slavery were cambodia and mainland china.

Pedophilia is sick. It is often more about power than sex, but it is never about love. If pedophiles truly loved their victims they would do the right thing and wait until they are old and informed enough to willingly have a relationship. And you cannot love someone if you are primarily attracted to their age, because as we all know age changes. There is not a shred of legitimacy in pedophilic 'relationships.' It is a sick psychological fetish.

Over the last thirty years I've watched our society degenerate quite a bit, so maybe it is a function of perspective. Of course people who get off watching snuff flicks and molesting little kids probably think it is getting better and better.

Thailand was put under a lot of pressure to stop their child sex trade. They were boycotted fairly widely in the Western Hemisphere. That may be why they no longer offer child prostitutes to foreigners.
