Hey Bush,

Not even a person of extremely low intelligence who has been living in a cave for the last six years would deny that you have left a terrible legacy (so why does Hannity still back you?). You presided over the torture of foriegners. You presided over the biggest expansion of the US govt in history. You presided over the greatest invasion of personal liberties of US citizens in history.

Please, please, please JUST LEAVE IT LIKE IT IS!!!

Don't try to change it by being chummy with the Democrats over the next two years. You can't undo all of the mistakes you have made. Your mistakes are terrible and shameful for you and your family, but there's nothing you can do about them now, so don't even try.

Inaction on your part is a much safer than action of any kind.

Just order cable and some movie channels AND JUST F***ING SIT THERE FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS! In 2008 someone will come in and try to clean up your mess. Don't make it worse for them by being "Presidential" all of a sudden.

That's the only solution if we intend to "win" Iraq.

I'd rather have all three branches of government working, thank you.

Once the Dems take full control, Bush will be nothing more than a lame duck President. He won't have any choice but to work with them.

Wrong. GWB actually has three choices. He can:

A. Work with the Dems.
B. Work against the Dems.
C. Do nothing.

I'm recommending C, but I'm guessing he will choose A because he will think it will somehow decrease the shame he has brought upon himself.

It's important for George to remember what happened to his dad when he worked with the Dems. They convinced him to raise taxes during his first term, then they used it against him in his re-election effort. "Read my lips, no new taxes". The phrase that sank a ship.

Well do you think that Iraq is the only war in the future, and I think we will win in Iraq the Dems hate losing.

Or he could choose A in order to do his job.

The problem isn't if President Bush will work with the Democrats. The problem is if the Democrats will work with the Republicans in Congress. If both sides come to agreement, chances are President Bush will work them both.

The Republicans and Bush never worked with the Democrats before...what makes you think the Republicans and Bush will work with the Democrats now?

Nothing. I said IF. I don't see it happening on controversial issues that are divisive. On minor issues they might.

To be honest CC, I'm not sure what's going to happen. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Who cares if they work together? It's probably better if they don't. Think about the days of the Clinton Whitehouse and the Gingrich Congress. There was never any time wasted thinking about working together. The result was a budget surplus and no new government intrusions into our lives for several years.

Now consider the last few years of Republicans running everything. This period of time will go down in history as the most shameful time in US history.

GRIDLOCK IS GOOD.

Not gonna happen.

After destroying the Republican party with images fresh in peoples minds
of expanding government (even grossly redundant in the case of
"Homeland Security"), ballooning debt, FEMA incompetency, ambiguous
wars, legalized torture, amnesty...
he will now be working with the Democrats to destroy our borders, and
sovereignty.

He needs the Dems, with their "One World" love, to help push forward the
NAFTA Super Highway to make his old buddies in Texas the gateway to
America.
Texas NAFTA Super Highway debate.

After that he may spend his time tearing down the Statue of Liberty with
a jack hammer to put up a giant Quickie Mart.

Bush was well-known for bipartisan work in Texas. Its all about tradeoffs and negotiation.

As President, he hasn't HAD to negotiate to get his policies in place. Now he does. So, he will return to negotiation.
