If we quickly withdraw our troops from Iraq (or the middle east overall), do you think that could result in attacks, or attempted attacks on US soil? Do you think it would give radical Islams one more reason to hate us, or will they have one less reason to hate us?
im interested in finding out what people think might happen.
personally, i think leaving quickly would have high potential to spark an attack, or at least an attempted attack, on US soil. i think leaving would give radical islams, or terrorists, even, a false sense of victory against the United States in the middle east in that they made us leave and might get them thinking they can successfully launch a campaign against the US and possibly it's allies.
opinions, anyone? |

| How are those radical muslims gonna get to America? The only thing they will be able to do is attacking you with terrorist attacks. |

...yes, i know they can attack us with terror attacks, now that we have that established, what do you think are the chances they will attack us that way? theres countless ways they could attack us whether it be via airplanes or missiles... |

My point was that they couldn't attack us with any land forces. Neither can they attack us with air.
Btw, how are they supposed to attack the US with missile attacks? |

How did they attack us the first time? How were they going to attack us on 2004 New Years eve? The Mexico border is wide open...

Yeah sorry, the superorganized radical muslims will ally themselves with the Christian nation Mexico to fight the great satan and Mexico will give the radical muslims all their military vehicles and all radical muslis will be super trained by al-qaeda so they will be able to match americas army directly in a fair fights.
The only problem is: How will they get all the men over to Mexico?
Maybe you mean that Syria, Iran, Lebanon etc. will attack us
Why havn't they attacked us directly in Iraq yet? How will they get their men over to Mexico? Their armies will be defeated before they even leave the middle east. Even if they leave the middle east they will have the US navy after them. |

Which can be far deadlier than conventional attacks. The 9/11 attacks exceded the deathtoll from an aerial bombardment of an entire Japanese airgroup at Pearl Harbor over the course of a several hour bombardment.
My point being dont wave it off as just a terrorist attack. Hundreds of people if not thousands of people can die in these attacks. |
