The title "Casino Royale" is the last full novel that hasn't been used that was writen by Ian Flemming. I haven't been into the Bond stuff for several years I haven't followed this new movie too much but I do plan on seeing it. Not sure how close they will follow the novel.
I think it is a good direction to go in, the Bond movies have been washed out by the Character becoming too soft lately IMO.
You ain't much of an expert then because Woody Allen already butchered the book back in the late 60's.David Niven played Bond.Hows that for someone that didn't belong in the role. |

Here's the plot of every Bond novel/film:
* M moves and gives a task to Bond.
* The villain moves and appears to Bond.
* Bond moves and gives a first check to the villain or the villain gives first check to Bond.
* Woman moves and shows herself to Bond.
* Bond consumes woman: possesses her or begins her seduction.
* The villain captures Bond.
* The villain tortures Bond.
* Bond conquers the villain.
* Bond convalescing enjoys woman, whom he then loses. |

I is an expert cause the 1967 movie Casino Royale was a spoof of James Bond. Ursula Andress who was the original Bond girl playd the part of Vesper Lynd... Yes, I is an expert. :wink: |

What were they thinking casting this guy??
He's not debonaire (sp) or classy.
He looks angry and diabolical.
Have you seen it, or are you judging the movie simply on the looks of the guy.
Either way, from what I've heard about it, you're wrong. |

| Interesting that you say worst Bond ever. First of all, there have been so many (lame) Bonds, I really doubt Craig will be the worst. And according to the reviews, they're already saying he's the best since Connery, and that the film returns to the spirit of the Bond Fleming actually wrote of. I'm excited to see it. |

Are you an Idiot?
I stated my opinion.
I am not wrong, that really IS my opinion.
If other's opinions are different, that is THEIR opinion.
Go back to P&G and rant about Pelosi some more... |
