Not in Glenn Beck's bigoted world.

Nice dodge. Did you even know he's Black?
There is no dodge. Of course he's African American. And the question would have to go to Glenn Beck in regards to Mr. Ellison's ethnicity. Afterall, he's the bigot, not me.

Perhaps a lesson in the wisdom of Glen Beck will help:

Quote: On antiwar protestor Cindy Sheehan: "That's a pretty big prostitute."
Also on Cindy Sheehan: She is "pimping out the tragedy of her own son's death for her own agenda."

On former President Jimmy Carter: "Is there a bigger waste of skin than Jimmy Carter?"

On a Nigerian public information campaign to fight bird flu: "They've actually resorted to radio jingles. ... Are we as dumb as Nigeria?"

To the 7-year old African-American author of a controversial poem: "You want to go to Africa? I will personally purchase your airfare."

On immigration protests: Mexico "is a country that has been overtaken by lawbreakers from the bottom to the top. And now, what you're protesting for is to have lawbreakers come here."

Responding to criticism of his remarks on immigration protests: "[I] pretty much stand by" the assertion that "Mexico is run by nothing but criminals."

On American Indians in South Dakota considering skirting a state ban on abortion: They "will have found something that can be more profitable than casinos, and that's abortion clinics."

Suggesting "politically correct" names for bunker-buster nuclear weapons: "[B]utterfly bomb," "climate-control device," "[b]omb de tropical. ... We could use that one in Venezuela."

On immigrants entering illegally from Mexico: Either "they're terrorists," "they're escaping the law," or "[t]hey can't make a living in their own dirtbag country."
How sad that you feel the need to defend this moron.

I liked when he said, back during the summer, that people against the Iraq war were "pinheads" that should be "silenced" so that America could conduct it's foreign policy in the MidEast easier

That's why there are things called "links" which you can "click" on in order to see where those quotes came from in regards to "context."

I'd like to see them in context. With Glenn, it most likely wouldn't make a difference

It doesn't. But those who defend him are expected to use this style of defense.

Another shock jock.

As for the original statement, it's a sickening question with no real means to answer. It is at it's core, very very politely worded slander. He is, in as kind a way as possible, telling the man that because of his religion he cannot be trusted to be an American. The question itself is easily brushed aside- what is not is the insinuation behind it.

I'm sure rednecks in America and my own country nodded sagely when this was said- probably thinking it was a cunning question.

prostitution is a nice word for whoring, which in sheehans case is a correct comparison. she has infact whored her sons death out for political gain.

Quote: On former President Jimmy Carter: "Is there a bigger waste of skin than Jimmy Carter?"

same link as the first one

Quote: On a Nigerian public information campaign to fight bird flu: "They've actually resorted to radio jingles. ... Are we as dumb as Nigeria?"

he's making fun of a stupid idea to combat bird flu, which is radio jingles.

Quote: To the 7-year old African-American author of a controversial poem: "You want to go to Africa? I will personally purchase your airfare."

a girl said all white people are the devil and said black peopel should be back in africa. he then said he would pay for her to go.

funny how you left out the "white people are devils" part.

Quote: On immigration protests: Mexico "is a country that has been overtaken by lawbreakers from the bottom to the top. And now, what you're protesting for is to have lawbreakers come here."

ILLEGAL immigration is ILLEGAL and that criminals keep pouring over the us-mexico border.

Quote: Responding to criticism of his remarks on immigration protests: "[I] pretty much stand by" the assertion that "Mexico is run by nothing but criminals."

mexico is one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

Quote: On American Indians in South Dakota considering skirting a state ban on abortion: They "will have found something that can be more profitable than casinos, and that's abortion clinics."

it's true. abortion clinics would be profitable.

Quote: Suggesting "politically correct" names for bunker-buster nuclear weapons: "utterfly bomb," "climate-control device," "[b]omb de tropical. ... We could use that one in Venezuela."

this is the only quote you have that is slightly pig headed.

Quote: On immigrants entering illegally from Mexico: Either "they're terrorists," "they're escaping the law," or "[t]hey can't make a living in their own dirtbag country."

"[b]they're hungry. They can't make a living in their own dirtbag country.Well, how could I possibly want to hurt the people who are hungry, who want a better life? How can I possibly demonize those people? I can't."

totally out of context.

Nope, but it seems profiling offends you, yet you don't like political correctness made fun of?

Carter was a waste of skin. What did he accomplish? He now proceeds to give political advice? Thats a laugh and a half.

It seems you have forgotten the corruptness in the Mexican government. Those who flee here illegally, are fleeing that corruptness. That government promotes crossing into this country illegally, then smirks when you send them back.

Those supporting hate America agenda, I myself would pay their air-fare out of here.

As much as I feel sorry for Sheehan, she has more or less pimped out her son's death for political and financial gain. There is a pick With Chavez, guess what? They had never met spoke and they are not related.

More to come............................

Well. I'm sure everyone, down in their deepest hearts, has fantasized about a life where everyone who disagrees with you being evil and worth insulting/deporting/shooting. The need for people to form tribes runs deep.
