There is a more frightening reason.

He was hired because this is what people want to hear- petty minded viciousness- and Fox is just responding to market demands.

That is the more frightening thought, yes?

It's all conditioning of the mind Somebloke, its to make the people cheer along with his so called patriotic reaction to the False Flag Terrorism.

Glen Beck is just acting for the puppet masters. Like an actor reading from a script.

I myself only turn on the news for 2 things, the weather forecast and traffic updates.

Cheers

This is my first winter in the Northern Hemisphere ever. I badly want to see it snow- it would be for the second time in my life.

Seriously, how do you people cope with a cold Christmas?

LOL, we were born into this cold winter climate. Like an Eskimo but for only 4 months out of the year.

P.S. Where are you staying as of now?

England. Quite frankly, it just isn't as cold as I had expected, or hoped.

This is what I get for watching "The Day after Tomorrow" before I came. I was secretly hoping for timberwolves.

Again, I challenge you to come up with any real response other than, "no".

The fact is, he asked this question to put across the idea that muslims and democrats are inherently untrustworthy. This is the sort of mob-rule rot that has sadly become more and more prevalent in conservative discussions since the Bush admin took power.

No...he put up the question to reiterate his belief on the cut and run policy which, he believes to be the makings for a disaster and spells victory for the enemy.

If this type of discussion has been more prevalent...then why is this incident so politicized?

Strangely, no: but people over here talk about it a lot.

There's also a lot more migration; I used to think that Australia was integrated, but it's got nothing compared to parts of London.

I haven't seen that much, because I'm looking for work and saving my money; hence, no real cash to spend.

Bullsh!t. This guy has made fun of Muslim names in the past, told a 7 year old to go back to Africa (and offered to pay for the plane ticket) and refers to Mexico as a dirtbag country.

If Glenn Beck is talking about cut and run, then why would he feel the need to interject this:

Glenn "Dirtbag" Beck wrote: No offense, and I know Muslims. I like Muslims. I've been to mosques. I really don't believe that Islam is a religion of evil. I -- you know, I think it's being hijacked, quite frankly
Now, why would he feel the need to say that in prefacing this?:

Glenn "Go Back to Africa" Beck wrote: With that being said, you are a Democrat. You are saying, "Let's cut and run." And I have to tell you, I have been nervous about this interview with you, because what I feel like saying is, "Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies."
Let's see. He really likes Muslims. Isn't that swell? Hell, he's been to Mosques. Wow. What a guy.

And then in the very next quote he couples with what was being said in the prior paragraph to acknowledging that Ellison is a Democrat. Then he takes "cut and run," which is a worthless label that the righties continue to use for pure political advantage, claims that he's "nervous," and then challenges Elllison to prove that "he is not the enemy."

This is so fvcking transparent, it's sick. And the insult to those who are intelligent enough to see this for what it is is born primarily from a peurile and arrogant attitude, and by no means resembles anything genuine. He drops these kinds of subtle nods to the zealotry of many who view him, and then will say this:

Quote: And I know you're not. I'm not accusing you of being an enemy, but that's the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way.
Alot of Americans? How many is alot? Is he talking about alot of those Americans who booted the GOP out of Congressional power? That alot? And he then says this after asking Ellison to prove that he's not the "enemy?"

Glenn Beck feels this way because he is an ill-informed idiot who sounds like one on television because it sells. Stupid sells. Bigotry sells. Rightwing propoganda sells.

And the results are obvious on this thread.

Give us examples of him singling out religious names from other regional ethnic names.

Take your time.

It's not my fault if you won't take my advice.

Egypt's Mulsim population:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Egypt

Quote: Approximately, 90% of Egyptians are Sunni Muslims, many of whom follow local Sufi orders, and a small number are Shi'a.
And what a coincidence? They happen to have Muslim names. Ask any Sunni Muslim in Eqypt, and that's what they'll tell you. It's the same if you were to ask an Iraqi Muslim, or an Iranian Muslim.

How is it my fault if an Eqyptian Sunni Muslim refers to their name as a Muslim name?

how deep is the hole you just dug? Do you insist on being wrong in every thread Comrade? It is a well known fact that many Arabs, Egyptians, etc. refer to their names as “Muslim” or “Islamic” names, just as Feingold, Liebowitz and Spielberg are referred to as “Jewish” names, but, by all means continue with your inimical arrogance.
