OK, but a cell is neither a chicken nor an egg. IMO, there was something kind of like a chicken, which had a special relationship with another thing that was something like a chicken, the egg mutated, and from the mutated egg came a chicken. Thus, the chicken egg preceded the chicken.

OK, but a cell is neither a chicken nor an egg. IMO, there was something kind of like a chicken, which had a special relationship with another thing that was something like a chicken, the egg mutated, and from the mutated egg came a chicken. Thus, the chicken egg preceded the chicken.

That's what I thought too. But that cell would be part of the egg before it was part of the chicken.

Did everyone know that chickens have the capability to have teeth? Their genes have the potential for expressing teeth, but they are switched off. If you switch them on: teeth.
