I´m revealing no secrets when I say that the whole issue of Iraq has proved to be a hugely divisive issue.
So I propose a course of action that could prompt the heals to wound and people to come together in a common cause.
I know some people do not want it to happen, but Saddam is set to hang and I guess there a few, none of whom are known to me, who would say that he does not deserve it.
So, on the understanding that this will occur before Christmas I propose the following.
We combine the relief that Saddam has gone from this world with the optimism that Christmas is coming and persuade Jose Feliciano (is he still alive? ) to re-record his Christmas hit Feliz Navidad, with the proceeds going to a worthy charity concerning Iraq, to the words of
"At Least Now He´s Dead".
What say you all? |
