Canada is the second largest country in the world with a population of a mere 33 million, barely larger than California. The USA OTOH currently has a population of 300 million and rising.
I propose that the USG encourage 40 million Americans to emigrate to Canada. Once 40 million Americans have settled in Canada and become Canadian citizens, they would elect Pro-USA candidates to the Provinical and National Parliaments. When Pro-USA members of parliament assume the majority in national parliament, they can vote for the disilution of Canada and admission into the USA as 13 separate states or the MPs of the Provincial legislatures can vote for secession from Canada and admission into the USA as a state. |

| Actually, the US isn't overpopulated. In fact, the USA probably has room for a billion people. There are more people in San Francisco than the entire state of Wyoming. Canada OTOH faces stagnation and maybe depopulation. |

Where in the hell do you get that Canada is the second largest nation in the world?
On top of that, why would America want canada to join the union? We should take some of the land, but not the people. |

| country's are too big, too much power for any one government, and people don't care about politcs when they're so many of them. I think Canada and USA should spilt-up into more nations, but stay in a close confederation incase very larg treats, then they're combine. USA should split into at least 4 counties canada should split into a few, it's not just population but I think countries should take geography aswell as population placement, and economic trading systems in consideration, in determining they're boarders. all countries in the world should have less then 50million population, as technology gets better the power in the population also increases ALOT. we can't just forget about innovation, and drift, not changing anything, cause if we don't change our systems then our systems will change us. |

Canada should not join the US. Canada should be broken up into 1,000+ city-states.
And the US should be destroyed. |
