| So my school handed out the ASVAB scores for all of us who took it today, has anyone here taken it, and if so do you remember your scores? |

| Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. I think. It's the military test, but I just took it to see what I was good at, not because I really want to join the military. |

I think all the kids in my daughters class had to take the test. And yes she's gotten lots of recruitment calls, but you can always say no. |

| I got a 99. I also checked the box that says I plan on joining the armed forces. I can't believe how persistent recruiters can be sometimes! However, I had no desire to enlist. |

| This year's my junior year and I got a 93. I would have got higher but that damn Auto and Shop Information part screwed me. |

| Id like to take the test, but my high school dosent offer it. TH only contact we have with the military is when the recruiters come at lunch. |

Go to your local recruiters office and ask to take it. I think they offer it for a small fee. |

Yes. I took it, and I missed exactly one question that was about siphoning. I said "gravity" and the answer was "air pressure". I argued that they were the same thing, but to no avail. I got a 99.
I was then rejected for service for medical reasons. |

| I got a 99. What an easy test. If they grade our members on stuff like this I see why we have such a GREAT military. Nothin against our troops par se(i know guys who are over there), but....you know. |

I dont remember exactly, nor do i care. I may join the military, but only as a last result, and only as an officer(AF academy, or west point). If i ever find the paper that had my scores on it i'll post them. |

| 99 my sophomore year of high school. They still call occasionally to recruit me, and that was about 4 1/2 years ago that I took it. |
