Today is veterans day, so I thought it appropriate to commemorate the sacrifice that so many good men and women have made.
I'd like to personally thank them for their service and personal sacrifice for our country. It takes a different kind of person to be so willing to go into battle and to die for their country men. If there is anyone who has served or now serves in the Military on this site, you have my deepest respect. |

Son of a b!tch, that's why my bank is closed.
We can still honor them AND have banking transactions. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be selfish, but I'm selfish. It's all their fault for giving me the freedom to be selfish.
So happy veterans FCTE can't make a deposit day. :snoot: |

My best mate is off to join the Redcaps in January. Hope this trouble abroad dies down by the time he finishes his training. 'Cos if he's away too long he'll find himself rei-ing to sensei thundertaker in his badass hacks by the time he gets back...........
Seriously though, I wish him all the best. We'll be sure to give him a good send off that'll leave him nice and hungover when he reports in to Winchester for basic....... |

For my father's father, served in Korean War, Medical Corps, R.I.P.:
For my mother's father, served in World War Two, drafted, served at Utah Beach:
For my mother's brother, served in Vietnam, drafted, artillery officer on DMZ line:
For my godfather, served in vietnam, AC-130 pilot:
For all who gave their lives defending this nation, and made the ultimate sacrifice for liberty:
And, finally, for my father; served in Vietnam, Air Force, aircraft repair crew:
R.I.P. soldiers. Your sacrifice forever remembered, your service forever admired, and your courage forever incarnated in the men and women who follow in your footsteps in defense of this nation.
Happy Veterans' Day; children of liberty. |
