Then that is a waste. What they did was wrong yes. No one will argue that. But if they could have gotten the cure, they should have. Ignoring such knowledge isn't going to make anything "better." IMO, knowledge cannot be morally "right or wrong" It can't be a moral wrong to "know" something.

But it can be morally wrong on how you get there. I'm not opposed to any research that doesn't sacrifice human life for better gain...but I think it's important to look everywhere to get information.

I don't think either political party is out for anyone's gain but their own (getting back to the topic I guess).
