Saddam Hussein has been sentanced to death by hanging by a jury of his peers for crimes against humanity.

The visibly shaken former leader shouted "God is great!" as Iraq's High Tribunal announced his sentence.
Saddam's half brother and former intelligence chief Barzan Ibrahim, and Awad Hamed al-Bandar, head of the former Revolutionary Court, were sentenced to join Saddam on the gallows for the Dujail killings after an unsuccessful assassination attempt during a Saddam visit to the city 35 miles north of Baghdad. I can't say that I din't expect this, I just didn't expect it so soon. I feel no pity for this man, and find this verdict to be justified. |

Yea but this is not really a P&G issue.
It's more of a news & Events issue.
But anyways it's like 8 pages long and has mainly turned into people quoting 15 other people and commenting on someones comments about someone else.
But this is not to surprising. It's why we invaded, to get him.
Which is why a court was set up in Iraq. And not charged in front of UN or a World court.
Because there would be a possibility he would not get the death penalty.
I mean what is a valid response to the assassination attempt of the leader of a country?
But the main reason for this thread here is the other is way to long to read.
