It is rumoured that Celebrity BB are in negotiations with Boris Johnson for him to be in the next series. He could be starring alongside The Hoff and Adam Ant. David Cameron needs to give his approval for this but it is also rumoured that he will do so in order for the Conservative Party to reach 'the yoof' audience.
I am in two minds about this. I don't support the Conservative Party but think Boris is a breath of fresh air and he makes me laugh. After last years Celebrity Big Brother being IMO the epitome of car-crash TV for the sole reason of George Galloway's two week political suicide note (who will ever forget him and Pete Burns dressed in leotards doing robotic dancing, his rants and his idiotic impression of a cat lapping up milk from Rula Lenska's neither regions), I could hate to see Boris go down the same road. That said, George took himself oh so seriously and actually thought he could subvert BB to his own means. Boris seems to the type of person who doesn't take himself seriously at all and just rolls with the punches.
What do others think...
Should Boris go on Celeb BB and entertain the nation or should he stay away??? Could Boris make an even bigger tit out of himself than George did??? Will he have a political career left if he does and how would it affect the Conservative Party??? |

| Boris' public image is largely based on making a fool of himself. BB would be perfect for him. |

| I think this is just the sort of caper that Boris would be good at! Yes it's trash telly, but damn it all if they can get some interesting people in it makes it worth watching. Boris is the sort of chap who has a back this sort of shenanigan will roll off. Huzzah for Boris I say! |
