They are - because its just as easy using box-cutters to kill 10 or 15 kids running away from you :roll:
Oh, I almost forgot - apparently people use guns for no other reason than "status". :roll:
Man, if only people who went on shooting sprees knew the untold damage they could cause with knives, rocks and molotov cocktails - they would definately leave the guns at home. |

The point (which you are obviously not grasping) is that the "gun" is not the issue. It's the psychopath using it. Do you honestly believe that if someone who is mentally disturbed to the point of shooting up a school will simply sit at home and pout if all guns were outlawed and unavailable to the public? No, they are going to find some other way of causing the death and destruction their warped mind desires.
Furthermore, school shootings in the US are ISOLATED incidents. Yes, they're horrible but they get so much press because they involve children, not, because they are some sort of problem that is spiraling out of control. So every law-abiding gun owner should just turn in their guns because every few years some wacko shoots up a school. :roll: And it's not like it's anything NEW either. When I was in school back in the 80s there were the same number of school shootings and it was the same thing over and over again. Someone goes in an shoots up a school and you have the anti-gun crowd screaming for instant disarmament instead of addressing the societal problems causing it. |
