| I need to clarify my previous posting. I am not saying that erradicating twenty percent of the world population and eliminating an entire culture is the right thing to do. I believe that the people of Islam have every right as human beings to exist and practice their religion peacefully. However, it is also the right of every other human being to exercise the same right. It is when someone violates that right of another that action must be taken. As I said, the world is not ready to accept such responsibility and never will be. Until we accept that humanity is a race itself, and not just tribal groups of primitive monkeys, we will never rise off this planet and reach our potential. Now, I also understand that until only one man exists on this planet, there will never be peace; and even that the man will be at conflict with himself. "If thou wants peace, then yee shall be prepared for war." I don't believe in erradicating anyone, but the fact remains that it is inevitable that such a thing must take place before the world can progress. Now, as Christians, we could easily step aside and let them erradicate us, but I don't want to go any more than they do. I hate to break it down to an "us or them" scenario, but that is exactly what it is. |
