however the bible is not the totality of god. so there goes your argument.
now once again, prove me god does not exist the same way you would disprove santa claus. |

Wow, you got suddenly defensive, and then changed the subject.
Why is that?
I'm intrigued by this line of questioning, aren't you?
If you heard about God from other men, but you claim this is not the only source, where else did you learn of God? |

personal soul searching, research not involving the written word. things of that nature.
and how did i change the subject? i asked him a question about something equally off topic. |

Aren't you Man? Aren't all your experiences of Man, and of Nature? |

So, where did you get the idea there was a God in the first place? |

Really? you never heard of God from anyone, or from the Bible before that? You had a revelation of a thing called "God" and THEN found out that other people had the same experience?
If this is true, then you may have the first proof I would ever except that there is a God. |

i heard of a god, and i knew what a god wad. but i thought it was silly. then one day i started thinking about things, and through some soul searching and personal revelations i slowly began to believe. |

Oh... Nevermind then. I can talk to a Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, Pagan, and Mayan and get that same answer. In fact, I once believed, too.
Problem is, you are human (Natural) and it is a natural experience to have wonder for your Universe. Considering that many people have a "god" experience - and that those gods are often mutually exclusive in definition (they contradict each other) - it is more likely people don't know what they are talking about.
People used to think stars were holes in the sky and without Scientific inquiry we would still think this. People think a lot of things about god, but since you can't test your assumptions, you can continue to think whatever you wish. Which makes the number of possible gods as numerous as people can imagine them.
But, don't worry, I'm sure YOU believe in the real god. +p |

So, would you admit that the Holy Bible is anonymous in authorship? |
