I don't. Not at all. Or Pixies, Bigfoot, Nessie, gods, Unicorns, Flying Spaghetti Monsters, or Leprachauns.
But, I will admit to being "spooked" for days after seeing 'The Grudge'.
Went to see it with another couple. They were bored and thought it was stupid, while we were freaked for a few days. :-D |

OMG, The Grudge is the scariest movie of this decade,
The sound effects alone just chill your bones.
Extremely underrated movie.
Played the prank on my friends, who saw it with me when, I phoned them,
You know that famous guttural sound. |

Thoughts?
I suppose anything's possible. People are made up of energy and it has to go somewhere when we die. I have experienced strange things. I have seen more than a few 'odd' things as well. Never seen the popular concept of a ghost though.
If someone can believe in angels and demons and such, a belief in ghosts shouldn't be too far off I would think |

| There have been way too many people throuhgout history (including plenty of people i know personally) who claim to have seen ghosts to think that they dont exist. |

I believe we are all energy and that we continually transfer from existence to existence,
But those ghosts/energies that stay in the same place after their death is questionnable,
What about the people who die and their energies are nowhere to be found?
Where do they go or why would they stay? |

It's true we have energy, but that energy doesn't disappear - or turn into a spirit.
It turns into food (energy) for worms, microbes or in the form of heat.
For example, you are lifting a heavy weight. Your arm rips off. It dies, but the energy dissipates into other forms of energy (heat, chemical, etc.) - A ghost arm floating around is absurd.
So, when your brain dies, so does your consciousness, but the energy dissipates into heat, chemical energy, etc.
To say it turns into a ghost is the same as saying it MIGHT turn into a 747 made of cheese and alien metals.
IMHO. |

You know ghosts are bs because people always see ghosts walking AND passing through walls.
That is an impossibility. Walking implies that they have some physical material existance--that they interact with the protons in the floor and are therefore composed of protons themselves. Passing through walls implies that they are not composed of protons and therefore are not inhibited by the protons in the walls. You cant have it both ways. |

i can't explain to you what everyone sees. I can only explain to you that ghosts cannot both walk and pass through walls.
People see strange things all the time. |

considering that ghosts go under the atagory of "strange" why can't they go through walls? |

i didnt say they they cant go through walls
i said they cant go through walls and walk at the same time
thats a contradiction because it implies that they are inhibited by the protons in the floor but not the protons in the wall. |

considering ghosts go under the catagory of strange why do the laws of nature have to apply to them? |

Depends on the situation. But I would guess the most compelling "sightings" are figments of your imagination and some play of light.
But here is a ghost debunking site. At least listen to their logic and opinion before you believe in ghosts.

they don't
but i find it strange that they selectively obey certain laws just so that they seem human (eg they walk around even though there's no reason why they have to)
that makes it seem more like a product of the imagination than anything else. |
