Did somebody say 10mm?
I've got close to $2 grand into my Delta Elite, and yes I carry and compete with it sometimes.
Mine (see avatar) cost all of $370. :P Since then I've done some polishing to some trigger components to smooth up DA pull and installed a heavier recoil and mag springs. A modified set of Hogues and handloaded ammo seal the deal. If I ever went with a 1911-based 10mm, it would have to be a Dan Wesson RZ-10.
I do have a 1911 and would pick that design for my only handgun. Mine is RIA to which I hand fit a beavertail. Lets just say that was a nerve racking experience.

as i posted in another thread..Im adding a few more pieces to my arsenal...2 of them are already ordered
these arent the pics of the actual weapons..these are just pics off the internet... as i dont have my grubby paws on them yet... but these are identical to the ones im getting
Pardini GT45
STI Marvel limited
im looking forward to the Pardini.. ive heard some damn good things about them... although i hear the recoil is a touch too much.. ifi t fires as well as ive heard.. ill buy a twin to go in my rig
the STI ...well.. id be lying if i said it wasnt purchased for its "eye candy" value  .. damn thats a fine looking piece
Im having trouble coming up with my next purchase... cant decide if i want another scattergun or another long rifle :?
I had to promise my wife that ill stop at 30 weapons... 2 more to go and i haven't the foggiest as to what they will be |

I shoot a CZ 75 in competition, so would love to have a Witness, but it's a little large for my hands. |

I have one, and a CZ-75 Compact as well. They fit pretty well in holsters made for the Glock 19, FYI.
