haha ya I saw that well before the Southpark episode and I thought it was hillarious. No one thought that was bad, don't see why they rip on South Park.

Wow, that was definatley worse than the Southpark episode (only 46 seconds), but yet no one is bitching about this :?

BTW, Macdonald is a GENIUS.

Laughed my a$$ off.

It's weird, you'd think that people would have got used to the idea that no-one is safe after 10 years of the show. I got a lot of respec' for Stevie (bummed out the monday morning I heard about the accident, I mean that's proof there is no God. Paris Hilton gets a smack on the wrist for DUI and Stevie gets nailed by a stingray!) but he's fair game.

Wasn't in the best taste, but that is the point of South Park.

In the beginning of every episode they advise nobody to watch it.

Nah, Ghandi belongs in hell because he was a hipocrite... in his memoirs it was written how he was a notorious anti-semite who earned praise from Hitler... one of the quotes was along the lines of "all jews should go jump off a cliff". However, I'm sure the SP team wasnt making that point, bur rather that i fyou believe in the christian versions of heaven and hell, we're all going to hell. And it was funny.

On topic: no, I was not offended, and while entertaining, I allso believe Irwin took his man-handling of certain creatures too far. I hope no kids or people who watched that show would go out into the real world and believe it was ok to handle animals that way.

Curious that we live in the world where a cartoon depiction of the prophet Mohammed causes huge offence with the result that such images will not be broadcast. Yet the depiction and satire of a recently deceased father of two young children seems more acceptable!

One was a human and the other a God. Allah is everything to Muslims and as their God he is untouchable. I once remember a young Pakistani kid called Iftikhar when I worked at the hospital who was never going to see his adult years say to me (he was a Muslim):-

" I cannot understand how you can even think there is no God, he is everything, everyone and everything that has, is and will happen".

Now I don't believe in God, absolute dismiss it, but his comment made me realise just how much God means to him. He had such faith even though he was going to die and he got my respect for that.

At the end of the day I see no boundaries when it comes to making fun, everything is a target, but I can see when you believe so much in something that you can become angry at anything that is seen as an attempt to discredit it.

Now whether that is indicative of Muslims and being oversensitive about their religion is a matter of opinion, cause to them it is an attack against that which cannot be attacked.

What are you on about? The prophet Mohammed is not Allah!! He was a prophet not a God. He is the Islamic equivalent of Jesus!

Sorry but for me satirising the death of a good person is disrespectful, and also hurtful to many not least his family. As for poking fun at religion! Yes it may be disrespectful but it's not even in the same league as what they did with Steve Irwin.

I do apologise. I meant Allah in the sense that if you insult Mohammed then you insult Allah. Honest mistake.

That episode wasn't nearly as good as the "World of Warcraft" episode. And with the steve irwin thing, I thought it was funny because some idiot at my school dressed up as steve irwin on the "Dress up as a character day" and he had a spike in himself. And then its like "haha its the real steve irwin and then he gets kicked out, bummer." Oh well, everyone gets offended by Southpark. In fact most people only get offended when Southpark makes fun of something that relates to them or their beliefs. Well you people who don't like southpark, where were you when they made fun of scientology and tom cruise? Huh? Yea what then?

Steve Irwin was already on southpark anyway, remember? "Well i'm gonna stick my thumb up this snake's butt 'ole."

Southpark said the key to making their show is 'all or nothing.' I can commend them on that approach but...you know...its just a television show from Canada.

It's not Canadian. They draw Canadians with flapping heads that don't shut up and speak in annoying high pitch voices and they sing songs like "blame Canada."

Technically Mohammad was shown on the show a few years earlier in a show titled "Super Best Friends" in which religious figures battled the evil magician David Blaine.

South Park is hilarious. Haters can cry me a river.

By the way, anyone remember the Terry Shiavo episode airing about 2 weeks after her death. Ah......tasteless.....
