Yes, we're fine. But I wouldn't advise you to make a habit of it.

Doesn't bother me. Steve Irwin probably wouldn't have really cared either.

I'm not offended, which means they are totally weak. It's weird that so few are offended given that their stated goal is to do just that. The problem is that those guys are completely gutless and lame. I've said it before and here it is again: they have no point of view. Any idiot can be a fan of nothing. Loving their show is like loving Jay Leno, 70 degree weather, whitebread, and/or walks on the beach.

I grew up on a ranch and if I had ever been caught tormenting ANY animal the way Irwin did I would have had my as* kicked so hard I would not be able to sit down for a week.
Slice and dice it anyway you chose Irwin was 'interacting' with wild animals in inappropriate ways and that's how his was killed.
Oh yeah, I have discussed this with my cousin, originally from Canada who has lived in Astralia for about forty years. He suggests that Australians have a somewhat 'different' attitude towards wild animals.

Irwin was educational in his interaction with animals. He did far more for their conservation then the likes of you could ever hope to achieve.

Anyone who has a real interest in conservation rather than just say they have because it's the in thing, can tell you this.

I wasn't offended because, if you look at the scene they are going on, that it was too soon to have a Steve Erwin/Stingray costume.

The joke was that he wasn't wearing a costume, and had to leave the party.

I'd say it was more respectful because Satan said it was too soon to do that sort of thing.

IMHO, People often look at a show such as south park and not think much of it with all of its offensive (purposeful) humor and sometimes even chuckle at it until they breach a subject which is sensitive to them. That in itself I find somewhat hypocritical. I remember the episode with David Blaine and the cult that was killing themselves in Washington DC. I would imagine that would have been quite offensive to anyone who has lost someone to a cult which has condoned and practised suicide. Or the multitude of shows which mock Jesus would offend hard core Christians.

If we can laugh at the expense at other people's suffering or concerns we should be prepared to laugh at things that concerns ourselves as well. Or we should be equally sensitive to the issues of others.

Regular Watcher. I thought it was great. What is completely lost on anybody that found this offensive is that the show was one step ahead of you, even Satan said that it was too early to mock Steve Irwin. They where there would be prudes and they threw it right in their face, awesome.

what a joke... who flippin cares about steve irwin, he was a marginally significant person, and the way his death was recieved, it deserves to be ridiculed, along with anyone who draws issue with the SP humor - which i have not seen.

Steve Irwin took his interactions with dangerous animals to the extreme. His death should have never come as a surprise to anyone.

I haven't seen the episode but quite frankly I would not have been offended by it. True humor that does not point a bias at any one direction never offends me.

I watched the episode to day and thought it was hilarious. I particularly liked the stand up of Gacey, Dahmler and Bundy as the Three Stooges. Absolute quality.

Offensive..........No, but it depends on what sort of person you are. Do you go to a funeral and be sad, miserable and negative. Or do you go laugh and have a good time and make it a happy event and put the whole thing in a positive light.

Those that seek to be negative about this issue just need to get a life. Steve Irwin will be laughing in his grave.
