I don't see why this is really even a big deal. I can't imagine that, any day now, babies are going to be picketing down the street, "We want our foreskins back!", "No smegma for oil!"
Nor can I conceive any adults picketing on their behalf -- sure, there might be a handful of nutcases out there, but not large enough to constitute a "movement."
Who cares, either way? So, they don't have a choice in whether to keep their foreskins. So what?
Why don't you protest God for not giving us a choice in whether to have belly buttons that are innies or outies. Or protest God for giving some of us small penises or no penises. |

So you mean that cutting off all those thousands of glands has no effect? There are 10 to 20 thousand nerve endings in the foreskin, and the foreskin is the trigger to the ejaculatory reflex |

your foreskin doesn't have thousands of glands. do you realized it would have to be the size of your fist to have thousands of glands?
and glands secrete hormones and fluids, they don't make sex more pleasurable. |

I could see your point if it was done with these tools:
But doctors, nowadays, use anesthetics and scalpels. They're very careful about it. And there isn't much evidence for or against circumcision. Overall, it's probably useless, but it isn't harmful. I don't really see what the big deal is.
Some parents have their kids circumcised because their fathers are circumcised and they think NOT circumcising them could lead to psychological trauma because, "Daddy looks different than me!!" |
