You are a fighter wow. It's just an example. How about an eye. You can see with one, maybe it's more clean to remove the other one. Sleeping dust is just so freakin annoying.
taking out an eye, which would leave a huge hole in your face, would increase risk of infection, and cleaning it would be a hassel.
Not if you wear an eyepatch. If you have an eye it could get stuff in it and become infected, or may require glasses. It's easier just to cut one out when you're a baby and just use an eyepatch or a glass eye |

what about the other eye then?
and you have tear ducts to push things out of your eye. |

I laughed out loud in the middle of my office with that one.
I couldn't tell anyone why I was laughing, though. |

Well you need at least one eye to see, but two is just a luxury, isn't it? And tear ducts won't push everything out. Better to be safe then sorry and just cut one out |

i've had smegma before, and not only does it hurt, but it makes things like walking or sitting excrutiating.
Bonobo wrote: Anyway, well done on being clean. Good for you. Now why not let others decide rather than trying to force your opinions on them in a permenant procedure?
i'm not forcing anything on anyone, peoples parents are.
Bonobo wrote: Why not let people have a choice? What if they do not want to be Jewish or whatever religion the circumcision is for. What if they do want to be that religion but don't want a circumcision?
it has more then religious reasons. |

you don't need any eyes. seeing eye dogs and brail make it thus.
and like i said, taking out an eye leads to an increased risk of infection.
these rediculous hyperboles are getting old. come up with something that is relevant. |

mhm.
before you go ZOMG SEE EVERYONE CAN GET IT?!?!?!?!?!?!??! let me explain.
i still had an excess of skin on my penis when i was younger, which essentially made a foreskin, which is how i had the problem with smegma. |

I told you, you can just wear an eye patch.
For good arguements against Circumcision, just watch the episode of the Penn&Teller show Bullshot on Circumcision |

| The eye example is not rediculous. You can see with one eye just not as well as you can with two. You can have slight pleasure in sex with a circumcision, but more pleasure with an uncircumcised penis. You're just calling these hyperboles so you don't have to admit that you're wrong. |

I have, and there are no adverse effects.
Ultimately, it's a (logically) pointless operation, but there are spiritual and religious purposes behind it, and there are no problems with parents wanting it for their kids. |

an eye patch? there's still a risk of infection for surgery like that, and the fact that people with one eye can't do ALOT of jobs because of imparied vision. |

So what was the point of having a circumcision if it didn't even work?
You got smegma because you were a grimey little boy who didn't wash, not because you had foreskin |

here's a simple test i'm sure even you could do!
take one hand, place it over one of your eyes. can you still see as well?
any honest person will tell you "no, i can't see just as well".

no evidence of this.

Yeah, but isn't essential to your survival. And what makes you think circumcision doesn't have a risk of infection? Lots of them screw up and get infected, or are botched.
You have the worst arguements ever. You say that it's fine to cut off a part of your body because it isn't essential to your survival like teeth or legs are and because you don't want to waste 20 seconds in the shower. Then when I point out that there are many other organs and parts of the body that aren't necessary (how come you never spoke out against me saying you should surgically remove all fingernails and toenails?), you say "oh, that's just a ridiculous hyperbole."
You're one of those guys who's secretly dissappointed his willy was snipped, so he fights vehemently FOR circumcision so that he somehow tries to convince himself that he isn't. It's like buyers remorse, but you didn't buy anything, you just got your wang cut. |

if you read the links i posted .5%-1% of circumcisions get infected. there's 300 million people in america, and assuming that each one had a circumcision that's about 150,000 that have gotten infected, and most of which are when a person gets a circumcision latar on in life.

because it is a rediculous hyperbole.
try actually READING the information i provided earlier and you'll see the benefits of circumcision.

That's the same arguement you're using for circumcision! "You're foreskin isn't essential, so you should cut it off because it might cause problems if you're really grimey and careless."

And you can't have as much pleasure when you have sex without the foreskin, but that's not essential for survival or whatever your arguement is. Same goes for a second eye

look at the links i posted or stop responding. the links make it all clear.

you can't get into alot of jobs with imparied vision. it messes up depth perception and it makes your overall vision worse. try actually putting one hand over one eye...oh wait that would mean actually trying to think outside the box.

Why are you guys so concerned with other men's penises?
If it's not your body, then it's not your problem. |
