Yeah, freakin nuts some people are.

And a disclaimer, the title was to get your attention. Not all MMORPG players fail at life. I will say the genre as a whole is not fun IMO.

Ninja - verb Originally "ninjalooter"; someone that loots corpses the instant they become lootable, not giving other players a chance to loot. The term has come to mean any act of looting items without giving others a fair chance at doing so, not allowing the group to decide who gets the item, or even the outright stealing of items (eg. losing the roll for the item and still looting the item). A 'ninja' will usually be exposed quite publicly by his party, resulting in the accused player becoming 'blacklisted' among the playerbase. One infamous example of ninja looting is an audio clip spread throughout the internet of an MMORPG player yelling over voice chat ( Possibly Ventrilo ) over how his "Cloudsong" was stolen from him. Despite popular belief, Cloudsong is not an item found in World of Warcraft and is actually from Dark Age of Camelot. Most looting systems are designed to discourage ninjaing.

It was in some other mmorpg but apparently you can do similar things in WoW.
