She is absolutely right. Some people must "awake" and realize that the year is 2006 - not the middle ages. :wink:

Which goes to a larger question: is globalism dead, at least in the sense of immigration patterns? Apparently, both here in the U.S. and in Europe, there is a growing anti-immigrant sentiment, not because of distaste of foreigners per se, but of distaste (or outright fear of) unintegrated minority groups.

There is open hostility world-wide in immigrant groups to any notion of forced assimilation into the culture of their host country. Will the ultimate result be a severe restriction on immigration? Money and product flows across borders easily, but people, not so easily.........

Well, it all depends on what part of the Swedish public is taken into account here. The general feeling however is that of agreeing with her statements.
