She is absolutely right. Some people must "awake" and realize that the year is 2006 - not the middle ages. :wink: |

Which goes to a larger question: is globalism dead, at least in the sense of immigration patterns? Apparently, both here in the U.S. and in Europe, there is a growing anti-immigrant sentiment, not because of distaste of foreigners per se, but of distaste (or outright fear of) unintegrated minority groups.
There is open hostility world-wide in immigrant groups to any notion of forced assimilation into the culture of their host country. Will the ultimate result be a severe restriction on immigration? Money and product flows across borders easily, but people, not so easily......... |

Well, it all depends on what part of the Swedish public is taken into account here. The general feeling however is that of agreeing with her statements. |
