The idiocy of this country appears to be never-ending.

Make sure those kids never look in a mirror either.

Stupidity never does end, and these parents have proven that. They don't want to admit they were wrong, so now this teacher has to suffer for it.

I'll sign the petition if it is in protest of these parents having been allowed to bring children into the world.

Threat of lawsuit from Dewey Cheatham and Howe. This isn't a problem of political correctness, this is yet another symptom of rampant lawsuit abuse. Anybody complains about anything, drag the "offender" into court, threaten them with expensive litigation, and get them to bribe you off for an amount less than what it would cost to defend themselves in court.

Firing the teacher is a gutless, but less expensive way to make the problem go away.

This is why spanking is virtually illegal in schools now.

If you drag someone to court, don't you have to pay their expenses if their defence is successful?

You have hit on why the civil trial system in the U.S. is so hideously broken.

The answer is no.

Wow, that's pretty unfair. No wonder litigation is so rampant there.

Any judge who takes a lawsuit case about matters this stupid should immediately be classified as retarded. Better yet, frivolous lawsuits need to be illegal.
