Rape charge recommended for Israeli president

Yeah but, it steps up a notch when the authorities agree charges can be filed.
We know how charges and accusations can be thrown around (Sen. Harry Reid) but charges raise it to a whole new level.

We will never know how low democracy can go until each man represents himself. I say this because I prefer personal corruption to public corruption, and because I feel that where leaders are corrupt the people are driven to a virtue that is beyond their means, and ability. I mean. Isn't a bit of a chore to have to live in a constant state of outrage with no hope of fixing the situation, if you get my drift?

Democracy is a system where only the people are allowed to abuse their power. Republics are forms of government based upon abuse of people and power. I will settle for a straightforward democracy. Only with sufficient power can the people be virtuous. The vice of rulers derives from their excessive power, which usually raises their price above the value of their virtue.
