Quote: Why is that question even relevant to anything?

It's not..

You claim that the offical government story is a conspiracy, you seem to be incedulous that these people could have pulled off the attack - I am asking you why exactly you feel this is so impossible

Most of the people who feel this way are not "liberals", they are hard right-wing conservatives..

Conspiracies aside, it really bothers me that there are Republicans who don't understand this astute assessment.

There used to be a time when someone who called themselves a conservative would defend their constitution. It was the liberals who played the constitutional interpretation game to build federal social programs outside the scope of congressional powers.

This whole neo-con movement has created an acceptance of assumed executive powers that go against the very nature of our founding document. The party of courage has become the party of fear.

As someone who would have called himself a conservative when it was correctly defined, I fully believe that the government has conspired to abuse their powers. Whether this means the engineering of 9/11 or simply the use of the event to accumulate powers is a matter that warrants investigating.

Whether or not the government caused or simply used 9/11 isn't my greatest concern. My greatest concern is that I have no way to know.

Is there enough factual proof to indict the government of a conspiracy to engineer 9/11? No, not in my opinion.

Is there enough evidence to support an investigation? Unquestionably yes.

Do I believe our representatives morally capable of killing american citizens to further their political agendas? Unfortunately yes.

I'm hardly surprised..

Quote: I noticed that you have 'Anti-conspiracy nut' as your signature
That's correct..

I utterly hate conspiracy theories..

Quote: so why are you disagreeing with me? If you have something like that aren't you against dumb conspiracies???
I am against dumb conspiracy theories... the dumbest I know of being the ones spun by the government in Washington, and it is against these (absurd) conspiracy theories that I war against.

You know ... like the conspiracy theory that 19 hijackers flew 4 planes into skyscrapers, etc on 9/11.. I *hate* that conspiracy theory.. it's utterly absurd.

ACtually that last sentence is called a FACT, not a conspiracy theory... Durrrrrr
