That's not saying much, considering I don't doubt that something is being covered up. The problem with people such as yourself is that you regard the government as some cohesive entity, when in reality it's a huge and disparate group of people, any of whom may have reason to withhold information.

They were neither rag-tag nor were they in caves prior to 9/11. That didn't occur until after the US invasion and the overthrow of the Taliban.

Secondly, if this was the viewpoint that you had, why would you repeat the oft-cited overly simplistic "19 arabs in caves with boxcutters" when you knew that this wasn't the case.

I am not accusing you of holocaust denial, I am merely pointing out that the justification for your assertion ("9/11 was not carried out by Arabs being the assertion", "They were in caves with boxcutters" being the justification) is chronologically incorrect. They were not in caves prior to 9/11, by all accounts they had nigh-free reign over any part of Afghanistan. Orchestrating such an attack given those resources is not at all out of the realm of possibility.

The connection is simple. The conspiracy theories regarding 9/11 are as truthful and accurate as those theories put forth by people saying the holocaust never happened. They make outrageous claims that go directly against all other proof and then expect everyone to just forget ALL the other evidence and just focus on one claim they make that they can't back up. A good example is the holocaust deniers claim gas was never used because they can't really find evidence of it. Never mind the records. Never mind the thousands of witnesses. Forget ALL the rest of the evidence that shows gas was used and pretend it wasn't because they can't find enough evidence.

The exact same thing happens with 9/11 deniers. WTC 7 was demoed because we don't think it should have fallen like that. Never mind the fact that 9/11 deniers know as much about structural engineering as your average first grader knows about calculus. Never mind the studies done by the government and independant firms showing working theories of how the building collapsed that don't involve explosives. Never mind the fact that nobody saw or heard explosives going off before or during the collapse. Never mind the fact you have hundreds of firefighters that saw and reported evidence of imminent collapse of the building well before it actually collapsed. Just believe the 9/11 deniers because they just KNOW that it couldn't happen that way and thus it couldn't have no matter WHAT! :roll:
