Well its 1000th post for me, and I must say I took my time. I made sure I saved this post especially for the Middle east forum. I must say this is the best forum here, with some of the best people. In saying that I Trula like some people here and utterly despise others. But hey that's only natural. There are some here who's views I don't really like, but begrudgingly have respect for them, there debating skills and straight forwardness like Duchifas. And there are some I just cant stand and never will like Yoadm. There are some who I just find nice and amiable, like secondary oak, and there are some I have come to like (over-time) like superskippy. Then there are some I pity like cap'n queasy. I must'nt forget other who I debate with like Moscowmatt, mendosan, DSwain et al, I've had my moments some of you too, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

But when it comes to the pro-Palestinian side, well hey, I love them all naturally. The majority share my view, what more could I ask for. There are times I dont agree with some views, but a little disagreement amongst friends is a good thing. I must say thank you to Saracen, Pebble, Spartan, Pharaoh, Nico, and all the others on my side(you know who you are) Another 1000? Maybe, but I've aged since I been on this forum, man can it be tough sometimes. And sometimes, oh so tiring. But I would'nt miss it for the world. CHEERS!

Ps. My time on this forum has confirmed one thing to me, and that is anybody who does politics for a living, is in it for themselves. To do this for a full time living, one must be f**king crazy. Just posting a couple of posts a day, has sent me round the bend. Putting up with the crap we do on this forum? If I was a full time politician, it must be augmented by perks or bribes for me to be happy. Cash for questions? or a directorship, preferably pharmaceuticals, oil or defense industry and up to my ears in corruption

Well I'm pleasently surprised to see I make an honorable mention. A happy 1,000 posts and in good will I hope you make another 1,000. Oh and you better participate in the debate that is being formulated.

Congrats P&S.

Well, in many instances you show more patience than I do Plato. Around here that's definitely to be commended.

Keep it up....:-)
