| I don't believe you can raise people out of poverty just by going by right-wing or left-wing talking points. I don't believe mr. Fox is very well-liked or trusted in Mexico, despite what has happened in the past. They call him corrupt. Politicians of all stripes and convictions have been corrupt, throughout world history, unfortunately. I'll blame corruption before I blame the ideology. Stalin and Mao were corrupt. Hitler was corrupt. They were corrupt right through their bones, their flesh, their everything. They weren't just corrupt in terms of the monetary, the materialistic, they also had corrupted values and ideas, and they were consumed by their own self-importance and power. Past indiscretions and wrongs set aside, I believe corruption still casts a shadow over Mexico. |

Don't forget the partisan machine in the US on our corrupt list.
I may not know much about mexican politics, but I will offer what I can.
I think that if a candidate is going on the campaign that he/she would move mexico into a position to compete with industrialised nations by using resources effectively, countering Mexico's halarious ammounts of corruption, and starting a public education system. I think the candidate should also mention that he is going to make sure that new wealth is spread to the poor, and that the environment is preserved.

| The only way for Mexico to recover from it's current state is for America (the old kind) to invade and set up a new government and to not leave until the nation's been industrialized. |
