Some of the non-Taliban have been proven to be innocent by the governments of their native countries to which we are allied, such as the UK. There certainly may be more, and it is known that some of those who have been released were turned in by bounty hunters. Under such circumstances, they should either be charged with the crimes of which they are accused or released to their native countries; if charged they should be afforded all the rights of due process to which every person has a right; if found innocent, they should be released; if found guilty, they should be executed. It's as simple as that. If captured as spies, terrorists, or illegal combatants, they can be legally executed on the spot. But if they are arrested and accused, then they are subject to a trial, provided they are indicted.

How does dying hurt other people?

It's irrelevant, as they don't have liberty. Prisoners can't choose to do whatever they want to do, irregardless of if it hurts anyone else.
The government takes some rights from prisoners...

No one has the right to take some rights, especially the right to hunger strike. It's a kind of last resort, like the judge quoted upthread said. The right to hunger-strike and to die is a final right that everyone has. The government has no right to take it and neither does society.
