Satan stands for questioning authority, self-motivation, self-competence. Satan is the one that gave Eve the forbidden apple so that humans could see for themselves what is truely right and wrong.

For being WRONG. There is truth..and then there is perversion. Satan stands for the belief that the perversion is actually truth…but it isn’t. It’s death.

If the beleif is that Satan exsists I would also take that as the same thing as some one believing in the idea of Satan. As one would with anything else you haven't seen and believe in just the same. I think they just have alot of the same views as somebody who would be a satan lover.
Unlike say a Jesus lover. A Satan Persona would describe that in a way
but its a bit lofty.

Well, I agree that they should be allowed and tolerated. I don't believe they deserve to be respected.
I suppose one's decision to respect or not respect a religion comes down to one's view of the teachings and practices of that religion. There are some religions that I have no respect for, but I would never seek to ban them.

I agree that Satanists (and all religions) should be allowed and tolerated.

Jesus died as a heretic fighting against the mainstream religion of the time. In his death he showed just how wrongful they were. That is something any Satanist should be able to appreciate.
