So does war. What do unborn children and foreigners have in common? |

The law currently, under certain prescribed circumstances, allows us to end their lives? Your point is...? |

ONE WORD:
ABSTINENCE!!!
If the poor whores cannot afford a child they should not be allowed children.
Here's a big fact for those who support abortion:
40 Million kids world wide die every year
Another:
For all those under 35 years of age: 1/3 of your generation is GONE!
(For an example of this take a large room of kids under 35 have 1/2 raise their hands-- that is how many people are missing from that room)
Another:
There IS a population problem in this country... but it is NOT an overpopulation problem, it is quite the contrary, there is now a underpopulation problem... Generation X and Y are the first generations to have fewer members than its previous generation
YOU MIGHT BELIEVE IN THE SANCTITY OF WOMEN RIGHTS BUT YOU DO NOTHING BUT ROB THE GENERATIONS AHEAD OF YOU, FROM SCIENTISTS AND LEADERS PERHAPS THE PERSON DESTINED TO CURE CANCER OR SOME OTHER DIOCESES.
I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU PIGS!!! |

I'm torn. But knowing how Xians can lay on a guilt-thing for unwed mothers, I don't know if you'd really want Xians agreeing to help them...
"Well, you are a miserable wretch for doing this, but believe in the Lord, and MAYBE you won't burn in Hell for eternity". |

Two things.
Your use of the X representing Christ is offensive.
Secondly no other organization on earth does more to support single/unwed mothers and their children that the Catholoic Church. No one is called or considered a miserable wretch and to represent the Christian attitude as such is either disingenuous or ignorant. |

Apparently, if the law does not prohibit something, it's not morally reprehensible. O tempora! O mores!
Now, it appears that some say "Well, the child is going to live a bad life anyway, so we'll just kill it."
I say to that:
First, how do you know the child will live a horrible, wretched life? Are you able to see into the future? Has something revealed the future of that child to you?
Second, if someone told you "I think you're going to live a horrible life, so I'll just kill you. Also, you have no choice." would you support that?
By the way, a definition of a human being is a being that is human. Quite simple, no? Unless you just want to play semantics, in which case we'll get nowhere. |

For the same reason others "know" that a child will lead a happy, fulfilling life.

You first.

Too simple. There is a difference between "being", and "a being". |

Correct. "a being" is a noun. "being" is a helping verb.
Quote: For the same reason others "know" that a child will lead a happy, fulfilling life.
Well, I never knew someone had to lead a life that was just either horribly bad or greatly fulfilling. Thanks for clearing that up. I mean, I was actually under the impression that a life could, well, you know, have both good parts and bad parts to it, not just one or the other exclusively.
Quote: You first.
That was the entire point. I wouldn't support it. |
