Criminals are criminals yea? Whatever happened the teacher was a dead man walking cos of this murderous 9th grader that would have found a way to end his life with or without guns yea?
If you didn't laugh you'd cry.
What ever happened to gun free zones? I thought gun control was effective?
Off at a tangent again Wolverine?
Simple question -- do you believe without a gun this 9th grader would have killed the teacher anyway using a my-little-pony, a can of pepsi and a small rubber bottletop he'd found on the floor outside?
Knives are sharp.
Answer my question brotboy.
My little pony could be fashined into a shank? yea? Or, er, you could prise the teachers eyes out using my little pony's head, then lead the teacher over a cliff to kill him yea?
Gun control is effective. I believe if the 9th grader didn't have a gun, the teacher would not have been shot. You probably disagree, why don't you tell me 'That kid was devious -- if someone hadn't given him a gun he'd have fashioned one out of toilet roll and alphabeti spagetti like they do off the A team and the teacher would be dead anyway'.
So you think, gun or not, the teacher was a dead man walking because of this criminal?? Can you answer? I dare you. I double dare you.
He still could've brought a knife, a dagger, a tazer, or picked up some scissors and stabbed him.
Ok -- pretend I'm repeating the following sentence again and again until you answer (will save me from posting it time number 4)
So you think, gun or not, the teacher was a dead man walking because of this criminal?? Can you answer? I dare you. I double dare you.
Whatever you reply if it is not an answer to this question -- please imagine I have replied saying 'Can you please answer this question now'. Continue posting until the question is answered. See you in 15 posts (or never) I guess! Britters. |

Gun control is effective. Look at the UK. Our 9th graders can not get hold of guns - you know why -- because we don't have them to give to them.
I believe if the 9th grader didn't have a gun, the teacher would not have been shot. Added edit: If the kid was given the gun by his parents as a 'loving present' -- I don't think the parents can actually be charged with anything can they? You're society thinks .. '9th grader severely pissed off with the world? Perfectly reasonable for his parents to give him a loaded gun'. And you must agree I guess?
I would venture to say that the gun was not given to him. He is a special education student and there fore mentally handicapped. Do not lose sight of that aspect of this incident. |

Honestly, yes, he was done for. Why? Because as I've said, he could've still killed him with a knife or dagger. Also, he was supposedly mentally challenged, so anything is a possibility. |

Ever see large edged weapons?
Wait, I forgot, the hoplophobic politicians in the UK banned swords like this too.

The principal was in a gun free zone. certainly, using anti-gun logic, he should have been one of the safest persons in the world. But, whoa, what do ya know, disarming people and making them sitting ducks doesn't work too well.
Why strip people of self-defense and allow criminals to run free?

Mature. :ok:
Wow! Normally threads on here virtually always end in stalemate, someone gets bored, and new threads start. It's very rare I actually see a pro-gunner capitulate so obviously. Well, it was nice debating with you Wolverine on this thread. I don't know how many threads you're gonna have to conceed before you start rethinking your policies (you probably never will) -- but it's nice to think that at least you are able to know when the anti-gun guy is right.
See you on the next thread .. I'll persuade you to the light side of the force one day young padawan. |

it seems like every month there's a school shooting somewhere.
Could it be because of the American gun culture you are so proud of or are you going to prove that Americans are born with a murderer gene that has not been discovered yet?

If you aren't proud you should try to understand why it is happening. Do you know that what you wrote is exactly what a young Canadian wrote in an American based internet forum? Other posters found him funny and laughed. They are not laughing now.

it's happening because children are growing up stupid with no sense of reality.
the tv and the computer are not nannys.

umm doesn't the UK have a a super strict gun policy?
that would explain why people don't bring guns to school over there. |

Not according to many people who interpret the constitution differently than you do and anyway it would be a very small price to pay in these circumstances.

i believe ben franklin said it best.
Benjamin Franklin wrote: Those who are willing to give up their freedom for a little temporary security, deserve neither freedom nor security
now you could argue that having a gun is not a freedom but a right given to you by the constitution. but in america, i consider the constitution to be equal to my freedoms. |

It is nice of you to willingly give up other people lives to keep your freedom to not have further gun regulation. How many lives a year are you ready to sacrifice The Comrade, 10, 100, 1 000, 10 000?

just being alive has all sorts of life threatening risks associated with it. if you ban guns, you need to ban cars to(many more people die a year from cars then from school shootings). you need to also tell people what to eat. infact, just ration out their food so everyone doesn't die of heart disease(the number one killer in america). ban knives, forks, and anything else with a point because it could be used as a weapon. you should eat with your hands. |

Surrendering our rights to have your version of gun cintrol is tantamount to suicide. It would shred the neitre constitution and then where are we. We are then at the mercy of 2 sources of danger. 1 is the bad guys would have guns and there would be well over 100 million of them because law abiders woudl then become criminals and why?.....because they will not surrender their guns.....unacceptable choice there.
The second is that then we as americans have no way or means short of was to keep a government in check and we become subjects of a tyrannical government. ...... Unacceptable choice there as well.
There can be no acceptable gun laws in the manner you want without an ugly fight. That is why we have what is called the VOTE.
With 44 states and climbing the chances of your version of gun cuntrol will not likely see light any time soon. |

Yeah, that's our problem. We will give up every single freedom and right we have just to be safe, and not think twice. |
