Jealousy[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jealousy] = definition
The 'straight' couples found the dedication and successes of the 'gay' couple unsettling, for one reason or another -- especially the length of the 'relationship,' which they could not POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND. A long list of sensationalized crap was compiled and hatefully rumormongered.
"Why are they together? We think they shouldn't be ... and we know another 'gay' that we think would be better for PersonA. Let's try and make PersonB jealous, and see if we can get PersonA hooked-up with PersonC."
And the lies started. And the sensationalized rumors, as the infection of hate spread.
Choosing 'friends' for other people
When is it 'right'? |
