It is to him. He has nothing better to do that attempt and fail at convincing people that his ways are better. Personally Wolverine, I am going to end it here with him because of the obsession with draconian gun laws that he likes so well. |

So as the old thing goes here LL. Look before you shoot and aim straight.
Your post was written about the post I wrote about The Comrade threats to some teacher Otacon disagreed with. Next time don't get involve if you can't take the heat Lilwolf.
Still what about what The Comrade wrote Lilwolf, are you joining me to condemn his stance on what Otacon should do to his teacher?

This is rich coming from a guy who is in love with terrorist groups like Hezboullah.
I don't think Otacon's teacher occupied parts of Otacon's home or dropped cluster bombs on his lawn, do you Sixgun_Symphony?

I began by saying that this would be a bad thing seeing how someone could steal your ammo and kill someone, and it would appear that you did it. He shrugged it off and continued onto the subjects of assault weapons.
He said that assault weapons and fully automatic weapons should be banned because their only purpose is to kill people. He claimed that only murders buy assault weapons. I pointed out that only 2% of all crimes are commited with assault weapons and that many people buy them for hunting, home defence, and recreational shooting. He told me that my arguement was the most retarded thing he's ever heard. He acts as though the few criminals that actually own assault weapons buy them legally. He then goes on to say that Americans do not have the right to own a gun.
I call him on it, citing the Second Amendment. He takes out his pocket Constitution from his desk and reads the amendment and claims that means that only members of the police or military can own guns. I said that the word "people" does not change from amendment to amendment and that the Founding Fathers intended the militia to be the people. Confronted with this, he chooses to ignore me and said that the Founding Fathers couldn't imagine a weapon that could kill so many people in such a short time frame. I said that the gatling gun wasn't to far of from full production and that Ben Franklin owned cannons. However, he chose to ignore the facts and tell everyone that I was stupid and not to listen to me, and that gun control was the way to go.
Oh, and at the end of the conversation, another student asked who he is going to vote for in the next presidental election, and he said Hillary. Go figure.
Let your teacher be, he decides your grade.
He will get his just reward when a murder comes in with an illegal weapon and he is defenceless because he thinks he should not have a gun. |

Why not inviting the teacher to debate here instead of threatening him or calling him names?

One idiot teacher here tried to convince my son that there are 52 states. The kid has been able to recite all 50 states, all of their capitals, and identify the state flags since he was 4 years old.
I wouldn't let that guy teach recess. |

Because he's wrong.
The actual meaning of the second amendment, and who it refers to, is very clear. Now, whether or not English and Australian folks believe that Americans are entitled to the protection of the bill of rights, or understand what such a thing stands for in our society, is a completely different issue, but the stance that the second amendment somehow only refers to military and law enforcement groups is idiotic, and indefensible. Someone who's claiming to teach history SHOULD understand this, and if they don't, well... they simply don't know the subject they're teaching. |

It was true in the case of a young Canadian who declared in an American internet site that he will commit mass murder because nobody understood him at school, I believe other posters supported him and cheered.
Your sarcasm is lost on the families of the students who got shot by this young Canadian Airo.

I see Airo, do you only debate with people who agree with you?
You have Otacon's version of the event, it would be good to have the teacher telling us more and that could even benefit Otacon's relations with his teacher to show him that all gun control forums are not just full of gun lovers preaching to the choir.

No, hence why i'm here.
But that does not change the fact that he's wrong.
Who the second amendment was aimed towards is fact, not opinion. There's no "Well, he could be right...", he's not. He's wrong, plain and simple.
Would you debate what color the sky was with someone who insisted it was brown? |

Okay? And?
Have you ever been into a library? Have you ever been to the "fiction" section? Did you run out screaming "HOLY s**t WE WERE INVADED BY ALIENS IN THE 1920S! I HAVE PROOF! THIS BOOK SAID SO!"
