Terrible and shameful stuff; one of the accused British soliders has already pleaded guilty to one of the charges.

Interestingly, these are the first charges brought under the International Criminal Court Act of 2001, British legislation enacted to ensure that British service personnel would never have to face trial at the International Criminal Court.

Very unfortunate but it also shows that in stressful situations soldiers make serious mistakes.

So, it is also not just the americans. It is sad that it was anyone but we now wait to see the results.

The crimes themselves are shameful ... but I think the fact that they are on trial is a sign of a healthy judicial system.

Yes i agree as well... No looks of shock now, this type of stuff cannot go on unchecked. There are limits and that should be clearly known before this goes to far.

I am in favor of interrogation tech. but not to the point of removing pieces and parts and such.
