Good speech from the Home Secretary, but even I smell a spot of conspiracy here - how did these fellows gain access to an 'invitation only' session with one of the most senior ministers in the country? And, much as I hate to say it, the point raised by Gorgeous George has something to to it: either police incompetence or a set-up. |

"Never a opportunity missed" This has the hall-marks of the security services at work. Vocal but non-violent Islamic radicals, let loose to heckle. Minimum to zero risk. Job done. |

Quote: n his speech, Mr Reid asked Muslim parents to keep a close eye on their children and act if they suspected they were being radicalised by extremists.
And for this he was heckled.
English heckled in their own country by their guests. Terrible. |

I would say that a man who called the London subway bombing praiseworthy has loyalties that lay somewhere rather than England. |

You know what cheesed me off about the whole thing? This heckler said how dare Reid come to 'A Muslim area'!!! Well excuse me if this Muslim area is not actually a British area.
Further more there was also a video recording of the heckler (I forget his name) making a joke about 7/7. He is also a former member of a banned radical group
Why or why do we let people like this stay? :wtf:
Also on the news last night on TV they interviewed some Muslim community leader or something. Sorry for the vagueness but it was late at night!! Anyway they asked him three times if it was reasonable for Reid to ask Muslims to watch what their kids were up to. Each time this guy avoided the question with stuff about foreign policy and all that crap.
I'm very tolerant of different faiths and ethnic communities but I'm sorry to say that my patience with Muslims is pretty much at an end!! |

I thought the comments were similar to the advic e given t o parents about drugs and their children; watch your your children show signs which may indicate they are taking drugs and act accordingly.
Lets face facts - a suicide bomb strapped to your child is far worse than them taking drugs and parents aren't up in arms when they get the drugs advice. Having said that, I can see why Muslims feel a little under fire with the current political situation. Nevertheless, the guys shouting didn't seem like your average caring parent... |

| It is time some people were reminded, Britain is not just a free country, it's a free to leave country. |

Absolutely - numerous airlines fly from London to Islamabad, I understand that single tickets are also available in addition to the 'Taliban Trainer Super Return Apex' |

His opinions are his own, they may be foolish, but he is however still English. |
